Mandated by the Unicef, we transformed complex Child Protection Minimum Standards into an engaging illustrated storybook about Mariam, a young girl forced to flee violence. Our team created original bilingual content and artwork that communicates protection principles through a child’s perspective, making difficult realities accessible to children 5-12 years old while highlighting moments of resilience and kindness

What we delivered
Our team led the creative development of the entire package—from story concept and bilingual writing to visual direction and illustration. With a child’s perspective at the core, we crafted materials that make rights-based content emotionally resonant and developmentally appropriate.
Purpose & impact
Designed to be field-tested and easily distributed, the book and posters are used by humanitarian actors to help children understand their rights, recognize safe behavior, and identify trusted adults. The content helps frontline workers communicate key protection principles in ways that empower young readers and foster empathy.
